Dr. Tara Egan
Dr. Tara Egan is the owner of Egan Counseling & Consulting and has provided mental health support for children, teens, and parents for nearly 22 years. She holds a doctorate in school psychology and has specialized training in counseling and family-school relations. Her private practice was originally known as Charlotte Parent Coaching, LLC, and was established in 2011 after serving nearly 10 years as a school psychologist. Due to the growth of her business and a shift in her focus to include in-depth work with families experiencing separation and divorce, she transitioned her business name to Egan Counseling & Consulting in 2022.
Dr. Egan is the author of three books and co-hosts a parenting podcast called "One Day You'll Thank Me" with her teenage daughter, Anna. Learn more at Egan Counseling & Consulting.
