Today’s episode is for the moms out there. Tara welcomes her guest, Justina Hinterberger. Justina is a Board Certified (NCC) counselor that specializes in women and trauma located in Cornelius, NC . She offers treatment for complex issues such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, perinatal mental health, grief and loss, infertility and personality disorders. Our topic is " What is Postpartum Depression?  Diagnosis, Symptoms, and Treatment."

I’d like to highlight something that I found to be particularly relatable on her website. She writes, “as women, we often take on many roles; professional, friends, sisters, daughters, mothers, grandmothers. We so often are forced by others in our lives and by society to lose ourselves in our roles, especially after becoming mothers. Justina seeks to walk alongside women as they rediscover who they are without the pressure or stigmas of who they "should" be. Not every women has to have children, not every woman has to get married, not every woman has to live a life pleasing someone else. Women are unique individual human beings with different experiences, needs, thoughts, desires and goals.”
