Is it possible to be healthy at any size? If so, how might this paradigm shift our perceptions of body image in our culture?

Curious to hear more on this topic and open yourself up to a public health approach that de-emphasizes weight? One that focuses more on the individual and lifestyle choices instead of body size? Then you will want to tune in to this super informative episode where Tara and Anna speak with Melissa Elder and Annie Goldsmith.

Melissa Elder is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Founder and Owner of Deeper Roots Therapy, located in Charlotte, NC. She has 8 years of clinical practice in the eating disorder specialty. Her primary work focuses on treating binge eating disorder, bulimia, and other related eating disorders utilizing an evidence-based, non-diet approach.

Annie Goldsmith is a registered dietitian who founded Second Breakfast Nutrition in 2015 with a vision to help clients truly heal. She is a practitioner fully grounded in the Health at Every Size® model, and her team at Second Breakfast Nutrition rejects the belief that a smaller body is inherently a healthier or more valuable body.

Tune in to learn:
 -
what the Health At Every Size® (HAES®) approach is?
- what things to focus on and look for instead of only BMI?
- how do we help people really be well.... whatever that means for them?
